I realise that I initially volunteered to send those scripts back and it's entirely my fault that it didn't happen when it should have. Also, re Martin French- again, since The Merchant of Venice was my show and I got the lectern in, I should have got it out. At the moment, I'm currently working 11 hour shifts every day and living on the other side of the city from both DCU and St. Pats so it's impossible for me to (1) think about anything Drama related and (2) do anything Drama related. I don't get a day off for another 10 days but, after the 9th of July, I should have some time to sort a few things out. I will be in DCU everyday from around the 10th/11th onwards working on a project and will be based there until the middle of August. I'll get that lectern back to Martin in July and will sort things out with him. As regards the Bui Bolg costumes, I haven't got any calls or otherwise from Bui Bolg about them but I'll let them know in due course. Many apologies if I seem to be losing my mind but it's what the World Cup does to you...every single day with no day off and working 11 hours a day. [The End] But, the real Eoin will return in... July. Over 'n' out. [eoc] On 6/19/06, Joey Kavanagh <joeykavanagh@gmail.com> wrote:
Hey guys,
Ok, Alan and I sorted the 'Sweet Charity' scripts today. They've been sent to Musicscope in London and I think it's safe to say that we can expect an angry letter in a couple of weeks' time concerning the various bits and bobs that are missing. I'm not sure who their point of contact is (possibly Claire O' Neill?) but we should hopefully know the full extent of the damage fairly soon. I just received Bob's text there as I was typing so, as you already know, Martin D'French's stand used in the Merchant of Venice, has yet to be sanded down and returned to it's rightful owner. Can whoever is responsible for this please get on it? It's really not fair for indiviuals to jeapordise the society's relationship with the ever-accomodating Mr. French. Bag packing... Can I suggest that we try and get some buckets together and plaster the DCU Drama logo over them? Also, can we try and get some bag-packers confirmed for the Jervis Street bag-pack? Maybe Steve could send an announce-drama e-mail? Or maybe we just wanna approach the old reliables and not publicise our 'financial difficulties' too much? Shane, can you confirm that the ticket-record thingys were sent back to Weinberger as agreed? Anyhoo, I'll get off the soap-box for now. I'm just a little concerned by the lapse in drama-related activity of late. I realise people are busy and stuff but, at the same time, we need to try and stay on top of things, Hope ye're well, Joey _______________________________________________ Drama-Committee mailing list Drama-Committee@lists.redbrick.dcu.ie http://lists.redbrick.dcu.ie/mailman/listinfo/drama-committee
