indeed, didnt they forget to pay their 300 bucks for the xmas party..? On 25/05/06, Roibeard O Mhurcu <dramabob@gmail.com> wrote:
Ahoy.
Yes, I did offer Music Soc the 40 bucks, as on the night of the show, their piano "player" demanded extra cash for playing the music for the Guys and Dolls stuff. I asked Music to pay it and promised to sort it out, then promptly forgot about it. Ooops.
As for Music Soc's attitude (or was it just Caroline's?), it's a fucking disgrace. We have bailed them out of holes this year on several occasions, and they screwed up on the Christmas Party. So the email from Caroline and the attitude contained therein comes as a bit of a surprise...
*sigh*
I'll be in Dublin on Friday night, if anyone wants to give me a shout.
BTW, Joey/Suz, are you guys around, and if so, can I have my TV back?
Mwah!

Right,
Were we ever informed of this 40 euro before now? Can Bob clarify that we said we'd through Music Soc money toward an event organized by them? Am I missing something or is there something wrong with that? If I remember correctly, DRAMA did Music Soc a favour by turning up with ZERO rehearsal time on stage with said piano player (anyone remember that we were kicked off the stage as doors were about to open?). Maybe I'm looking into this too deeply but I'm very annoyed by this...Can we confirm that we offered Music Soc money before I respond to my Music Soc classmate's very horrible e-mail...I agree with Grimes Snr on this one...
Also, well done on the Sponsorship stuff Suz. Will have a detailed look through it later on. As far as I know, Redz gave us a little bit for the musical and either Laura or Conor will know the name of the contact as they had a sit-down meeting with them.
In the DRAMA post-box, there's another letter from Weinberger looking for ticket revenue information...We need to get this sorted asap. Can we get Shane to take a look into this? I know that Joey is ruled out until Saturday.
Alan, you were looking for me earlier?
And John, can you get in touch with me asap?
Best of luck to you all with exams left...
