Its okay- we have a group of 80 SVP kids for Wednesday aswell...
I was just putting it out there to see how people felt.
In terms of ticket sales- I'll get Gary Boylan to make up ones saying Monday- Tuesday - Wed Matinne & Wed OK? Then you can add the numbers yourself on the back (its probably simpler that way? yeah?)
I'll send them to campus for Monday and you can collect them? Okay?
Steve
I disagree. The panto is being advertised as putting on a matinee on Wednesday at 4pm. The posters are everywhere on campus, we can't really go back on that decision now. Also, as regards the negative feeling of the cast towards the musical matinee last year, if I recall correctly I believe the majority of the cast were glad that we did the matinee in the end. I think it turned out to be a very good performance, as far as I can remember.
That's just my two cents!
And I am also interested in Joey's question as to whether the tickets have gone to campus print yet. I need them Monday morning for the ticket stand! So what's the story there? :-)On 11/30/06, Stephen Grimes < stephen.grimes5@gmail.com> wrote:Excellent Point Joey-
I suggest we get 246 made up saying "Monday show only," then 246 saying "Tuesday show only" and 246 saying "Wednesday show only" .... could be a second safety measure....
ALSO- SVP can't get the kids in for Wednesday matinee ... which is ubershite... Do we want to go ahead with the matinee OR try and get more people going to the late night show?
I personally think we should NOT have the matinee and have the later show at about 7pm (for two reasons)... Just from the musical last year with the 'wednesday matinee' crowd I don't think its worth the negative feeling to the cast. Also we may get more people for the wednesday night show which would be better buzz.
We'd stll need to sell 400 tickets though... at least... =(
What do you guys think?

Just wondering if panto tickets have been sent to campus print yet?
We have to be really careful with how we go about selling them, especially given the whole Style Soc debacle. I suggest the tickets are numbered and sold in order so we know exactly how much we're giving to charity at the end of the day.
