How's it going, committee.
I won't be available for tomorrow's meeting due to a show taking place from my stageschool.
You all got invites on facebook, in case you want to know more if you havn't already. Anyway,
since I'll be absent, I might as well give you all the lo-down on everything tech-wise.
1) Firstly, for anyone who wasn't at the tech workshop, it had a massive turnout. Although, the
majority of them beforehand didn't brag much experience, we shouldn't have an issue for a lack
of tech people needed for upcoming events. I talked to one or two people who were there later
on that week & they seem very enthusiatic. Having said that, I don't know if contact details were
collected after, because I wasn't there at the time. If not, then I recommand we sent out an
announce-drama general message to collect details.
2) There's been a bit of concern lately about the lack of experienced tech people available for
shows. I was talking to Jay Fallon today about it. He was helping Jody Tredy(who was our sound
guy for Rent) with the sound in my stageschool show in Baldoyle. He told me he doesn't have any
problems helping the less experienced people leading up to shows or perhaps for another workshop.
But he prefers to be contacted about it instead expecting or asking us for jobs to do, if you know
what i mean.
Anyway, that's all I got at the moment. If you're unsure about anything, give me an e-mail or a text!
Your loving techie,
Dave
