Absent: Alan

Matters arising:

- we couldn't send anyone to the Leisureplex event because everyone was too busy to go

- Conor's dad can't do the transport for ISDA because he's not working with that company anymore

- Tuesday 8pm, The Theory of Everything

- Wednesday 11am, Disco Pigs

- Wednesday 5pm, The Woods

- Megan to contact Ian from DIT to see whether our set can be stored in one of their venues between The Theory of Everything on Tuesday night and Disco Pigs the following morning

- Joey did get the rights for Disco Pigs

Six Semesters premiere:

- happening Monday of Week 12 in the Sugar Club, which was meant to be the night of the DADAs

- the decision didn't really go through committee properly

- but Martin Conry (secretary of DCU) wanted it in the Sugar Club and he holds a lot of sway because the college has funded the film so much

- within the college it will be promoted as a DCU Drama event, but outside the college it will be promoted as a DCU event

Scrubs:

- probably not going to happen: not enough people who have the time to get involved and not enough space to put it on

- bit of confusion over whether it was meant to be in Week 10 or Week 11

- bit of miscommunication between the producers: Gary seems to be under the impression that it's being pulled but Doireann sent out an email today asking how many of the cast can make it for Week 10

- Pauric to contact them and get them to let the cast know whether it is happening or not

Variety Show/DADAs:

- it might have to be just the DADAs, because it's not feasible to include the Variety Show as well

- there isn't enough time to organise it, or enough people to do the acts

- vote: two votes in favour of keeping the Variety Show, four votes in favour of dropping it

- possible nights to put the DADAs on: Friday of Week 11 or Thursday of Week 12

- decided: Thursday of Week 12 in the nuBar

- Declan to book the nuBar

AGM:

- Wednesday of Week 11 at 2:30pm

- gives people enough time to get over the musical buzz

- Susan to book CG12

Yearbook:

- the yearbook will be separate from the scrapbook

- everyone to work on the scrapbook in Pauric's house from 9am on Friday, we'll just get it done that day

- we need blurbs, photos and materials

- Susan to print off the blurbs

- Yvonne to print off the photos

- Fiona to buy the materials

Equipment room cleanout:

- need to make a list of things that we want to keep

- needs to be done by Week 8

- Declan to look after it

AOB:

- Pauric had a suggestion for an amendment to the constitution: a subsidy for the team leader of the Broadway trip

- might not be a constitutional issue, but could be brought in as a policy of the society

- pass this on to next year's committee

Next meeting: 6:45pm, Monday, March 24th, 2008
