I realise that Joey. If it was possible to hold the AGM at any stage in week 11, I would jump at the opportunity. Monday: Easter Monday Tuesday: Music Soc Choral Thingy Wednesday: Half Day, no-one around Thursday: Everyone's gone to barcode Friday: everyone's gone home for the weekend. I would suggest bringing Steve to the meeting, as he will be able to pass on relevant info to the new ELO. It's a shitty situation, one that I really wish we could avoid. In terms of the handover, I would suggest that each member of ctte do a handover to their successor (not an ideal situation, as there is a crossover issue - Eoin as new vice chair and current secretary etc.) Christ. What a pain in the ass. I am open to suggestions - I just felt that we would be guaranteed quorum at the DADAs. Also, there should be a little socialising time at the DADAs with which to talk to our successors. In hindsight (hindsight always being 20-20), we should have had the AGM in week 9 (like last year). But what's done is done :( Get back to me y'all! Bob On 4/16/06, Joey Kavanagh <joeykavanagh@gmail.com> wrote:
I'm against holding off the elections to Week 12 for two reasons:
1. I'm supposed to bring next year's ELO to the next ISDA meeting in DIT this coming weekend.
2. It allows for a pretty short space of time for the handover.
