DCU DRAMA COMMITTEE MEETING * * *Agenda: **Monday, February 11th, 2008*** * * * * - Ratification of last meeting's minutes - Any matters arising from the minutes - Refreshers Day - Rag Week - Leisureplex event - Yearbook - AOB *Apologies:* Fiona, Jenni, Conor *Matters arising:* - Blood Brothers - Marian couldn't get fifteen or twenty people seated in the same place for Blood Brothers, but it would be possible to have that many scattered around the theatre - tickets cost between fifty and sixty euro, but the SPC should cover 60% of that - Week 5 is probably the best week to try and organise it *- Marian to try and book fifteen places for Monday of Week 5* - if more than fifteen people want to go we can reapply to the SPC for funding - workshops - Yvonne couldn't get Ciaran Gray for this week *- Yvonne to ring Ciaran Gray again tomorrow to try and organise a workshop with him* - Susan Doyle is also scheduled to do a producing workshop sometime in the future *Refreshers Day:* - this Wednesday from ten to four - we just need to show up and have a presence there - table, banner, registration slips - just do it for two hours, from twelve to two *- Declan and Pauric to mind the stand* *Rag Week:* - Susan went to a Rag Week meeting this afternoon and let them know what events we are doing - as well as Drown Drama and busking, Pauric had the idea of putting the Scrubs musical on in Rag Week - it would take in a lot of money, but it is a lot to organise in such a short time - maybe put it off until Week 5 and put it on in the Old Bar *- Pauric to advertise directing Scrubs in the announce drama* - Marian had the idea of putting Whose Line is it Anyway? on in Rag Week too - Drown Drama will happen on the Tuesday evening in the beer garden of the Old Bar, later in the night when people will be drunk *- Yvonne to organise sponges, buckets, towels* *Leisureplex event:* - the SPC are organising this event for Wednesday March 12th at 2pm - five members from the society on a team with one person from St Michael's House - can have more than one team *- Pauric to include it in the announce drama* *Yearbook:* *- everyone to send their pieces on to Pauric* *AOB:* - Snow White and Disco Pigs are definitely going on in Week 7 - the DIT drama exchange unfortunately can't happen because they have a festival going on at the same time *Next meeting: **6:30pm**, **Monday, February 18th, 2008***
