How to get to Ashbourne:
Walk down Lower Abbey Street on the right hand side (as you're coming
from O' Connell Street). The Ashbourne bus-stop is on the corner at the
end of the street (i.e. the first right turn after the Abbey Theatre).
You can get the 103 bus (and sometimes the 105 bus, but always make
sure it's going through Ashbourne!). It'll cost you €4.20 for a single
journey, €5.60 if you want a day return ticket or €6.80 if you want a
monthly return (i.e. you're planning to stay in Ashbourne overnight).
Ashbourne is the first major town after Finglas. You can't miss it. As
you're coming into Ashbourne, you want to get off the bus-stop at the
first stop AFTER the bridge. When you see the Ashbourne Court Hotel,
it's time to get up from your seat. Once you disembark, keep walking up
the main street and you'll come to Dunnes Stores on your left. Voilá!
(Getting to my house is slightly trickier but once people get to Ashbourne, I'll provide the tour-guide services.)
