Morning all, Firstly, the socs ball. As already stated in Elaine's email, each society can pre-purchase up to 30 socs ball tickets on monday between 9 and 11. I will sort this out. However, the ordinary members need to be informed so i would suggest that we send out an email to them stating that we will have 30 tickets to sell, and that we will sell them on a first come, first served basis on,say, tuesday outside the venue between 10 and 12, or whenever. If nobody objects to this, i will send out an email saying this this evening. Secondly, Broadway. Plane tickets booked!!! Bob has suggested a final price of €430, however i believe that rounding it up to €450 would be a good idea, so as to have a little extra cash in case of any possible emergency. If we still have the money at the end of the trip, we can refund it to the people, or blow it on something. If we agree on €450, then I suggest that the remaining €300 bwe paid in 2 installments of €150 on nov1 and dec1, ensuring that we have the cash before xmas. Also, all those going are advised to get travel insurance. available from all the usual suspects. AIB have 5 day insurance, for €30.
