[Drama-Committee] A library chap that wrote a musical.
Maeve.. Can you forward this on to the new committee please ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: stephen buck <stephen.buck@dcu.ie> To: webmaster@dcudrama.ie Date: Wed, 06 May 2009 11:51:56 +0100 Subject: new play Hello, I recently started working in DCU part time as a librarian. I'm also a playwright having had many radio plays broadcast on RTE and in the US. I've had a stage play produced by Red Kettle in Waterford. Anyway, to cut a long story short (in the context of Rent - and many congratulations on the success of this) I've written a musical (for seven characters) about an unwanted pregnancy set in a tower block in Ballymun. It's a comedy with serious intent. Is there anybody there who might be interested at having a look at the script (with a view to production if you like it) or what is your policy with original scripts? I look forward to hearing from you.
