Woo! :-) DCU DRAMA COMMITTEE MEETING * * *Agenda: **Monday, February 4th, 2008*** * * * * - Ratification of last meeting's minutes - Any matters arising from the minutes - Booking the Venue - DCU Drama scholarship - Rag Week - AOB *Apologies:* Fiona, Conor *Booking the Venue:* - shows that need to be booked: Snow White, Conor's play, Robin's play *- Declan to book them with Shea* *DCU Drama scholarship:* - we have €500 left over from Broadway - auditions for Spring Awakening in London are happening in April or May - we could use the money to sponsor someone to go over or get headshots - Marian knows somebody who could do headshots for free - the person will need headshots, two songs with sheet music and an acting resumé *Rag Week:* - Fiona is mainly going to organise our events for Rag Week: Drown Drama and busking in the Hub - Drown Drama may not go down as well as last year because the SU might be organising dunking booths *- Megan to contact the SU about doing the two events in collaboration with each other* *AOB:* - theatre trip - we didn't have any theatre trip last semester, should have one this semester *- Marian to organise a drama trip to Blood Brothers* - drama exchange with DIT - do two of our shows in DIT and two of their shows in DCU - good way to foster positive intervarsity relations - Week 5 in DIT and Week 7 in DCU, two nights for two of our shows, two nights for two of their shows - might work better the other way around because Week 7 is Reading Week for us - budgets - Pauric, Conor, Robin, Joey and Alan need to sort out their budgets and send them on to Jenni as soon as possible - Week 2, we don't have anything on *- Marian to try and organise Blood Brothers or Yvonne to try and organise a workshop for Week 2* - Campus blurb - talk about what's coming up this semester - committee meal has been booked for Little Caesar's at 8pm on Sunday - see ye then! :) *Next meeting: **6:30pm**, **Monday, February 11th, 2008***
