Susan :-) DCU DRAMA COMMITTEE MEETING * * *Agenda: **Monday, April 7th, 2008*** * * * * - Ratification of last meeting's minutes - Any matters arising from the minutes - Set at the back of the Venue - Skerries transport - Drama money/profit from the musical - Six Semesters committee viewing - Photos for Clubs and Socs Awards - Clubs and Socs Awards - Lisa Muldowney/Student Activities protest - AOB *Set at the back of the Venue:* - Susan got a call from Siobhan Byrne saying that Estates had been on to Shea McNelis about the fact that our set is being stored outside at the back of the Venue - Pauric, Marko and Declan went down today and picked the pieces that we want to keep and put them inside the Venue - Estates can get rid of the rest of it *Skerries transport:* - John and Steve organised a bus back from Skerries on Saturday morning after the party but didn't collect enough money from everyone - Fiona and Alan Flanagan paid an extra €70 to cover the balance - Drama will pay them back *Drama money/profit from the musical:* - we're waiting for a breakdown of ticket sales, but we reckon we've made a profit of about €5,000 from Fame - need to decide what to do with the money - better to spend it, or the SPC won't give as much money next year - best idea is to get a decent lighting desk *- Declan to find quotes for the price of a lighting desk* *Six Semesters committee viewing:* - John is suggesting Friday of Week 11 for an early viewing of Six Semesters *- Declan to confirm this with John* *Photos for Clubs and Socs Awards:* - we haven't sent in any photos to Bob yet *- everyone to send photos of recent events to Susan* *- Susan to give the photos to Bob* *Clubs and Socs Awards:* - we have a ticket for the society, for Best Individual and for Best Fresher - everyone should be able to get a ticket if they want one - if people don't have tickets by Wednesday evening, Pauric and Jenni will talk to Siobhan Byrne - meet up around seven in the bar on Thursday evening before heading over to the Helix *Lisa Muldowney/Student Activities protest:* - protest is happening this Wednesday at 2pm - they want all clubs and societies to make a scene - the cast of Fame will dress up in their costumes and sing numbers from the show - everyone else will wear drama hoodies *AOB:* - DADAs - meet to pick nominees on Friday of Week 11 - meet to decide winners on Sunday of Week 11 *- Alan to contact Joey about getting trophies and medals* - AGM - membership needs three days' notice *- Pauric to include the date of the AGM in the announce drama tonight* *Next meeting: **7:30pm**, **Monday, April 14th, 2008***
