[Drama-Committee] Stars in Their Eyes
Okey dokey, ABBA have been in search of costumes and Clown Around have quoted us €55 (€110 but €55 refunded when costume returned) PER COSTUME. So, that'd be €220 altogether. We realise that this is probably way too much for one act (and we plan to haggle the price somewhat), but I was wondering approximately how much Drama would be willing to pay towards the costumes. Can somebody please let us know a.s.a.p? It's just that tomorrow's the only chance we're gonna have to sort out our costumes. If any of the other acts need costumes we might be able to do a deal with some company. Also, is there going to be a programme for the show (even just an A4 sheet with the running order on it) cos, if so, we can put the costume company's logo on that and try and get a discount of the gear. Anybody in the know, please get back to me ASAP, Joey
As far as I'm concerned that is simply stupid. Abba don't need costumes with prices anywhere near that order of magnitude. I think we should keep the budget small as possible, and use what we have. ABBA shouldn't be hard to piece together with the crap in the equipment room. That money would be better spent elsewhere, don't ye think?
