Hello all, Here are the minutes from last night for y'all to peruse, Adam Minutes 8/12/08 Absent: Sinead -Vagina Monologues -Rent -Broadway -Xmas Party -Lighting Desk Mouse -Shakespeare -DCU's Got Talent -Strictly Come Dancing -AOB Vagina Monologues -The auditions will be on Thursday with Rent -Will try to stay in booked rooms as long as possible -CIARA still waiting to pick dates for the show. May go on with Pillowman Rent -Helix pretty much confirmed for Week 7. -contracts will be signed soon, hopefully this week for Rent and Pillowman. -tech expenses should be signed for soon too, as they have changed the deal right before the show in the past -Ciara found the Open Heart House Charity operating in Dublin that helps people with AIDS and looks into dispelling the stigmas. -Will talk to Bob about this and other charities. -10% of profits will be given with a probable minimum of 200, with the possibility of more once we know where we stand for next year's budget. -At auditions hope to have a committee presence there -The songs and lyrics should be there if anyone needs a listen before auditions -CIAN will get CD and lyrics for show. -Ger got the script from UCD for printouts. -Andrew Grafton will be there on Wednesday aswell. -Seems to have time and ability to do Rent. -If this is not the case, we, or John can look into dismissing him -Wants professional drummer and bassist (about 300) -Budget for Rent ; 20,000. With 3800 spent on director, 3750 spent on Helix and 600 on Bob and Andrew's travel expenses. -working on same budget as Fame -CONOR will talk to John Cannon about his figures for Fame. -big effort needed to ensure show is not too big for its budget. -If asked, we're paying John full price Broadway -the flights have to paid. CONOR has been trying to, but bank systems are stupid-will do it as soon as possible, -Everyone has been gotten onto except Lisa Holleran -getting the money this week -Guys and Dolls is starting on Broadway that week, might be worthwhile. -People seem to leaning to certain shows. -End of the week all money should be in. Shakespeare Meeting Conor Lynch Monday night, seems to be good for the part. Lighting Desk Mouse Adam tried to get mouse but the place was closed. -will head in Wednesday to get it X-mas Party -No more heard about it. -will involve Drama, Dance, Style, Music and MPS. -we don't need to do too much for this, just get presents, Santa suit, and Santa (Ed). -will be Tuesday 16th in the Oldbar, price 2 euro.
