Ahoy gang, WE GOT THE HELIX !!!!! We are in the Space for all five shows next week - myself, Elaine and Lisa met with Marie-Louise this morning and negotiated a deal. Venue issues solved. Of course with this news comes many more issues... We have two lighting riggers for five hours on Monday morning for a get in and possibly a tech run through. In an ideal world, we would get the lighting rigged in three hours and follow it with a run through. But that's not my department... We need to arrange a meeting for about 1pm today if possible, I know that it's extremely short notice. At this meeting we need to have Claire, Conor, Dave, myself, Gary, Elaine. Priority number one: Lighting. Claire and conor need to sit down and prepare specific lighting instructions and cues etc for the riggers. We will be shown how to work the desk, for those who don't know jow to use it. But we definitely need to walk in there monday morning with a detailed lighting plan. Elaine tells me that the rigging layout is available on the Helix website. Claire and Conor may need to meet with Marie-Louise Friday to sort out a few details...
