Howaya! I'm away Inter-Railing for a few weeks from next week, I'll be back before college starts though. Anyway, site is progressing, just a little bare of content. There was a section on the old site with the history of DCU Drama...and I can't find it...it isn't in the backup I made of the old site. Anybody who know where this is, or know's what I'm talking about...get in touch. We may need to re-write it, so anybody who know's how and where the society came from, or knows who to talk to....you're in charge of that. Okay, I need somebody to write a section about the facilities available to members. Stuff like: The Hub Lighting Sound Costumes The Helix Music equipment Rehearsal rooms Human resources, people, musicians, artists etc. And anything else that takes your fancy. Elaine...this is probably you're gig, you know about the lighting, sound, venue aspects of stuff. If we could come up with something fairly concise but impressive, that'd suit me. Martin, thanks for the propagandatastic stuff you sent me, I appreciate it. I'll add that to the site over the weekend. Okay, so that's it. Site is still bare, but getting there. I've spent most of the time making the database stuff for the site. Basically you'll all be able to add news and production announcements, auditions etc. to the site by just entering into a form on the web, very simple. I'm hoping to have the site up, the bare version of it, on monday..so I'll be in touch about that. I know we haven't decided on logos and stuff like that....but sure, I'll throw them in when we have time. Oh, and I'd also like to rope people like Adam, Ross, Podge into writing a few words for the site to reflect why they joined the society, what experience they had before they joined...just show that we need different types of people with different levels of experience...all that. A human face to all the different types of people in the society. Any more ideas? Suggestions? I am your humble servant. Right, that's all from me.
