I hope you enjoyed the evening. Secondly - the next step is the National BICS Society Awards which are being hosted by NUI Galway on the 18th of April 2007 in the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill. (next Wednesday folks) The categories are as follows: Best Society Most Improved Society Best New Society Best Society Individual Best Society Fresher Best Event Best Poster Best Website The next step is submitting your nomination form online and the deadline is 1pm on Tuesday 17th of April. You need to log onto the BICS website www.bics.ie and log in to follow the detailed instructions guiding you through your application. Your log in details are as follows: user name: dcu_societies password: Dcus0cs I will need confirmation by 1pm on Monday as to how many society members will be travelling to the awards to confirm numbers for accommodation with the hotel, meals, wine etc. SPC will cover expenses for up to 5 members. I will fund a further 5 max from my budget. You have been allocated €50 for travel to Galway - it is up to you whether you choose to travel by car, bus, train or plane. SPC will sub €50. Accommodation and meals are covered by SPC and BICS. You just need some pocket money on the night!!! :-) If you are planning on sending supplementary material such as dvds, scrapbooks etc you have until Wednesday morning to get this material to the adjucdication panel in Galway. I will be travelling to Galway first thing on Tuesday morning so if you wish to send your supplementary material down to Galway with me you will need to drop it over to my office in the Henry Gratten Building (CG71) on Monday by 4.30pm at the latest otherwise you will need to make other arrangements.
