Hey hoe (yeah that's right, I called ya all hoes...) Drama heads...
Few things to keep you going this week!
* One Act Wonder Festival * Broadway Meeting * Panto Volunteers NEEDED!!! * Stand Up Comedy featuring Aislinn O Loughlin! * Closing date for hoodie design competition
One Act Wonder Festival
That's right! The One Act Wonder Festival is back this year and will take place in Saint Pat's College. Every act that appeared in the LOAFS will be heading down to represent DCU so make sure you go and support them! Its a chance to see other college drama societies perform and a chance to meet tons of new people! The Festival is on over three days... (The Shows named in brackets are the ones being sent down by DCU Drama...)
Tuesday - 7pm ("A Murder Mystery with the Exception of the Script", "Come and Go" , "Common People", "Nobody Famous")
Wednesday - 7pm (None from DCU... but head anyway and support other colleges!)
Thursday - 7pm ("If this is the Afterlife, I want my Old Job Back", "Alone")
Show up in Pat's by 7pm, the 11 or the 13A will get you down there (it costs 95c), and the festival will be held in St Pat's Theatre, which is just beside the reception in the main building on the right as you come in the main gates! The Thursday night show is followed by the "The One Act Wonder Festival" Award Ceremony!!! So make sure to attend! Last year DCU Drama came out with several awards- so good luck to the shows heading out this year! (No pressure or anything...*giggles*)
Ticket Costs...
€5 for Student for ONE NIGHT €8 for Adult for ONE NIGHT €10 for student for ALL NIGHTS €20 for Adult for ALL NIGHTS €2 for performers on other night then their show
Broadway Meeting
For the lucky 40 heading to Broadway there is a compulsory attendance meeting in XG19 this Monday at 6pm. It'll basically be a short meeting to ensure that you guys have a clear notion of whats going on and also it's a chance for you to ask any questions which may be bugging you. You are required to bring your passport and you can receive a receipt of payment if you haven't received one already.
XG19 - 6pm
Panto Volunteers NEEDED!!!
