This weeks minutes..sorry for lateness,its been mad! Meeting friday at 2pm meet in street. Mail me agenda stuff Cheers! DCU DRAMA COMMITTEE MEETING Agenda: Monday, October 20th, 2008 ? Ratification of last meeting?s minutes ? Any matters arising from the minutes ? Jackle and Hyde ? Hoodies ? Clubs and Socs Ball ? Auditions ? Panto Director ? Six Semester ? ?The Lighting desk? ? RENT Information ? ?Communication? ? AOB Jackal and Hyde: - It?s on the 21st till the 26th October so it would be too short notice. - Blaithin will organize a first year outing, Pauric said he will help her. - We have applied for ticket funding in our grant app for 6 shows so there will be a good discount if we get good numbers. Hoodies: - We?re going to take names and then order them with other societies so they will be cheaper. - They shoud be around 22e and we will put ?hoodies? in the next email. Clubs and Socs ball: - Conor already bought our quota. Deducting the amount for the committee there will be 26 to sell which will be done on Wednesday before auditions. Auditions: -Cian is doing a one act, and Conor wrote one in a night so they will both be auditioning along with Stars and the panto. Shaun and Wiv have written one each but are both pre-casted. -Pillow man will be auditioned too. Panto Director: -Holly Traynor is the director, Alan is the producer and Stevi and Sinead are the choreographers. -Jack will help with the tech -Carly can assist Alan -A couple of first years are interested in set design so they all can help out. Six Semesters: -Remind people at auditions. -3e entry fee. The Lighting Desk: - Adam got a call to tell us that they got his address wrong, but it is in Ireland. - We talked about where we will keep it and decided that we will either lock it up or keep it in the lads? apartment until we find a better place. - Connor applied for funding in the grant app but doesn?t know it we?ll get it. RENT Informtation: -Ciara wants to put together a portfolio for rent and fame. She needs to speak with John about fame. Ed will mail her the stuff he has on sponsorship for the website. -A lot of discussion went on about the production of rent so we will have a meeting about it on Friday at 2pm (meet in street) Matters to be discussed are: Director Producer Musical Director Auditions Marketing Choreographer Set Tech and Lighting Miscellaneous. Communications: -A lot of people don?t know what?s going on between meetings so keep the committee up to date with emails. AOB: -Need to start thinking about panto set. -New drama boards will be ordered soon. -Conor will ask Jen to do panto set -Adam wants to send around an email about teck and will do workshops on lighting, sound and then a general one.
