RENT- Director, Producer, and Marie- Louise? ? Open Day ? Broadway ? Panto Set ? AOB Ratification of last meetings minutes: - MPS don?t want the movie either so we will have to let the guy know. Training Day Tuesday 18th: -GER said he will go along at 5pm and leave a little bit early -CONOR will be going to the TGM for the grant app and will let us know if anything important arises. RENT; - Marie-Louise wanted to direct, and then saw the DVD and decided she didn?t want to direct. She said she will help out with tackling the Helix etc. GER, CONOR and PAURIC will talk with her tomorrow after the one acts. - Ger is waiting to hear from John Donnelly about it. By the sounds of things he is very interested. - GER AND CO will meet Bob on Wednesday after Stars to have a chat - Fiona Byrne asked if MPS could do a behind the scenes documentary of the musical and film it also. All agreed it sounds good. Open Day: -SINEAD will get onto Olivia who sent the email and ask about where we can put on the performance -We will also have a table in the hub with the trophies, drama llama and some sweets. Broadway: -Conor needs the deposits off all committee members. -Next Monday between 6 and 7 in Clubs and Socs we will collect the remainder of the money. Sinead and PAURIC will help. People need to bring 350e and their passports. -MUSICALS: In the Heights, another well known one (maybe Chicago?) and then a play. GER will get onto this. Panto Set: -Robins friend is going to make 8 boards for us for 500-600e and they will be ready on Thursday of week 9 which means they will have to be painted over the weekend before panto. -There will probably be a set design workshop this Friday. Holly and Alan said they have got on to someone about it. AOB: -There is a meeting tomorrow at 2 for arts week which ADAM will go to. -They need one of two acts to perform at it. Stars people? It is in week 10. -Eimear Fitzmaurice wants to know if any drama heads want to go ice-skating on the 4th December for free/ cheap. GER will put it in the email. -Improv weekend is in Cork this year in the 2nd semester. -There is an intervarsity meeting in Limerick on the 29th which Barry and Pauric will go to.
