[Drama-Committee] Two possible shows...
Hey guys, just been talking with Shay & Amnesty 1.) Carols by Candlelight- Thurs- Week 12- Shay asked if we could do a couple of bible readings for it. Just three sections... Isaiah 9: 2-4, 6-8 Luke 2: 1-14 Luke 2: 15-20 I think we can find 3 people willing to read them. Joey already volunteered! They were also talking about us 'opening' it with some sort of sketch thingy... maybe Scrooge type thing... I think its a bit much to take on but what do you guys think? 2.) The Exonerated- Semester 2- After the Musical- Amnesty asked me if we would like to put on the "Exonerated." Its a powerful play about the death penalty... could be the serious drama we were looking for?! Check it out, I hear it amazing! What do you guys/gals/think? Anyway, just keeping yaz informed... For the Carol's by Candlelight thing I think that firstly we're over-stretching ourselves and secondly, drama should try and keep away from religious issues. However, if members themselves want to do it without a drama endorsement I have no problem. As for the Exonerated, I haven't had a chance to read up on it yet, so expect my opinion soon.
