Hey guys its week 12 and that means its the last weekly mail you'll be getting before christmas. We've got an action packed week of events for you guys and gals so you can all take a well deserved break from your study and assignments and have a jolly good time.

PANTO PANTO PANTO

This week is panto week! Come and see the amazingly talented panto cast in "Once Upon A Time" on this MONDAY, TUESDAY and THURSDAY in THE VENUE, at 8pm!

So its here again. Its panto time. So by now ya'll know the drill. We have an evil witch - Evelyn who wants to get rid of all the good in Pantoland aka Prince Marvellous and the lovely Princess Audrina (nothing to do with our obssession with The Hills - we swear). The fun thing about this years panto is that our prince is the son of none other than Snowhite and Audrina is the young one of Cinderella - thats a whole lotta fairytale in there folks! Theres also a few bangin tunes in there. So why not? Get on down to The Venue this Monday, Tuesday & Thursday for a laugh - take the edge of those assignments! I'll leave you with three words. Single. Ladies. Tranny.

The tickets are 6 euro with a euro from every ticket going to St Vincent de Paul.

Hair Auditions

In case you weren't aware already, auditions for our annual musical are on all this week. This year we are doing HAIR, and following on from our success with RENT last year, well you'd be mad to miss out!

Details for the auditions are as follows - all auditions are 4pm-7pm.

Day 1 - Monday SINGING AUDITIONS FOR LEADS AND ENSEMBLE. We ask anyone who is not involved in the Panto to audition on Monday, to make sure there is enough time for everyone to be seen on Wednesday. PLEASE AUDITION MONDAY IF YOU ARE NOT INVOLVED IN PANTO.

Day 2 - Tuesday DANCE AUDITIONS FOR LEADS AND ENSEMBLE All auditionees must attend dance auditions.

Day 3 - Wednesday SINGING AUDITIONS FOR LEADS AND ENSEMBLE Everyone involved in the Panto should audition on Wednesday.

Day 4 - Thursday CALLBACK AUDITIONS TO DECIDE FINAL CASTING. Only those who have recieved a callback to attend on this day. Involves script reading and singing.

WE HAVE THE SPACE FOR TUESDAY AND THURSDAY. VENUE TBC FOR MONDAY AND WEDNESDAY (we will be in touch beforehand to confirm final venues)

SEX-MAS Party

Our annual Christmas party will be held this year in association with MPS, and Dance Soc. Join us as we sex-up christmas this Tuesday night in the NuBar...With:

Vagina Monologues Audtions This is one for the ladies only I'm afraid! Auditions are taking place on Wednesday 16th in the Interfaith centre for the vagina monologues which is going on in shag week (week 2 of semester 2). This is one of the most powerful productions in the dcu drama calendar so make sure to be there for your chance to star in it.

* SHAG WEEK: *We are organising a *SHAG week theamed theatre festival during Week 2 of Semester 2*. Shag week is a week based all around sexual awareness and we are looking for anyone interested in putting on shows with this theame during the festival. So far the events we have planned are the Vagina Monologues, a backwards play by Alan Flanagan, a Kama Sutra workshop and we're looking into putting on a Rocky Horror event too.* Anyone with any ideas of events they would like to put on please email myself at conortweeddcu@gmail.com.* * Putting on Plays in Second Semester:* We are looking for *anyone who wants to put on plays or other drama events during next semester to come forward with their ideas*.
