Hi all, I am sending this to you as I hope it may be of interest to your society or to someone you know!I am guiding a tour this weekend to the Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry and Blarney Castle. The tour will leave DCU at 8am on Friday 6th and return to DCU at appox 5:30pm on Sunday 8th. The cost is 200 per person inlcu accommodation, free breakfast, transport and entrance fees. We have a trad Irish musician on our tour with us to play for us!... I am guiding a tour the following weekend to Limerick, Cliffs of Mother, Doolin and Galway city. The tour will leave DCU at 8am on Friday 13th and return to DCU at appox 5:30pm on Sunday 15th. The cost is 200 per person inlcu accommodation, free breakfast, transport and entrance fees. Please let your students, fellow students and friends know if you think it would suit them or if they would be interested! The More The Merrier!. All Welcome. Thank you. The tour will be lots of fun- culture agus craic!..with emphasis on the fun part!!! On Saturday March 7th we are going to a Working Irish Farm (see www.causey.ie) for one day! The ' Be Irish For A Day' tour is five fun filled hours of activities including for example ceili dancing, bog warriors, learning to play a traditional Irish bodhran playing and baking a traditional Irish soda cake! Bring old clothes and wellies if you can! The bus for the Causey family farm will leave DCU at 9am and return to DCU at appox 5:30pm. Please let me know if you are interested in booking a seat on our bus! Please feel free to email or phone me if you would like an itinerary for these tours or if you have any questions or queries! NB: Tablequiz. I would be interested in organising a table quiz at DCU for my students. My students are living on DCU campus as part of the DCU Boston University Dublin Internship programme. There are 42 students in total. They are undergraduates in Boston University and other feeder USA Uni's. They are very eager to meet other DCU students ( to join societies, clubs and to experience the craic!)..this seems like a great opportunity. I lecture in 'Irish History' at DCU so I would love to slip in some eeeeeasy 'Irish History' questions if that's ok!! Watch this space! Thank you!Warm regards, Caroline Connolly (postgrad)Tel: 0877849035. _________________________________________________________________ Get 30 Free Emoticons for your Windows Live Messenger http://www.livemessenger-emoticons.com/funfamily/en-ie/
