Hi everybody, Well, I've finally managed to get my head around the accounts. I've attached the most recent copy (although i will be updating it when i get a look at this week's statement). Basically, at last count, we had about €7150 in the bank, with about €6250 of cheques left to be cashed. When you combine this with approx €500 in lodgements yet to come through (hoodies, sponsorship, bag-pack, six semesters funding from SPC) and cheques of approximately €1500 for musical performance rights and €500 for the musical set, we're looking at a negative balance of approx €500. However, taking into account that we're still owed €1300 in musical sponsorship, we'll hopefully end up with a balance in and around +€800 to begin the new year. Pretty much every event this year made a profit (ranging from about €7 from King Lear to about €700 from Vagina Monologues). The musical was the only event to run a substantial loss. Totting up the figures, it looks like the total loss was in the region of €5000. I'm a little surprised by this myself but I don't think it should take away from the that The Full Monty was a fantastic success. The main problems encountered were the extra Helix tech costs and lower ticket & programme revenue than projected. Anyway, the main thing is that there is no urgent need for bag-packs this Summer - wippee! If you spot any mistakes in the accounts, please let me know ASAP.
