[Drama-Committee] IMPORTANT! Trip to Broadway availability!!
Hi gang, PLEASE READ TO THE END OF THIS MAIL BEFORE GOING BANANAS / PESTERING YOUR PARENTS FOR CASH! The unthinkable has happened. We have had a last minute drop-out from the DCU Drama trip to New York on the 30th of this month. At our EGM, we took a cancellation list, and yours are the first six names on it. Woo Hoo! The order in which these names are listed, and therefore the order of preference, is as follows: Shane McGrath Damien McGrath Jason Fallon Laura Heading Ashley Dooley Martyn Andrew O Connor ...so here's the deal. We realise that this is extremely short notice - the trip is in less than three weeks - which is why we are contacting the six of you together at the same time instead of one by one. In order to come on the trip, you need the following: 1): A valid, machine-readable passport which does NOT run out in the next six months. Basically, it can't be handwritten and has to have the herring-bone pattern at the bottom of the photo page. Almost all passports are like this. It has to be valid for longer than the next six months to comply with US Immigration regulations. 2): 450 euro to be given to us, in full, as soon as possible, if not sooner. 3): Parental / Guardian permission to go on the trip. Hey, call us old-fashioned. 4): We would recomend at least 400 dollars spending money, as we will be in Manhattan for four nights. In order to be as fair as possible, preference will be given to the person highest the top of the list to fulfill ALL of these conditions. I cannot underestimate the importance that all of you contact me at chair@dcudrama.ie or dramabob@gmail.com as soon as you can to let us know if you are able OR unable to go. In fact, feel free to all me at 086 1744955. And, please believe me, I will let all of you know as soon as possible whether or not you have managed to secure a place on the trip. Nobody likes being kept in suspense. Talk soon, Bob -- Roibeard O Mhurcu # 54144094 CS2 Class Rep.
