Minutes meeting Friday 31st October 2008. Clubs and Socs Ball Tickets: -Everyone needs to ask around for buyers. 4 need to be sold. Broadway Deposits: - Deadline for committee deposits next Friday. -We decided that Ger will only pay ? the cost of his ticket, as the chair looks after everyone/thing there and its not really a holiday! Musical Director/Producer: -People looked for directors but no one found anyone amazing. Cian came up with a couple of names and Dec got 2 names from Jay who Ger will ring. -Marie-Louise wants to meet us in the space at 6pm on Monday to discuss Rent. We?ll have our meeting afterwards. -Monday the 10th will be the deadline for the final decision. -Auditions will be in week 11 for the cast, we need to get onto music soc about auditioning for week 11 also as there is a lot of work to be done. ?RENT? Coming Soon? posters will be put up. -Sinead has a potential choreographer who she will get onto this week. Sweeney Todd: - Jay is doing tech for Sweeney Todd in Draiocht in Blanchardstown from the 10th to the 15th of November (reading week). Tickets are 20e 18e with concession. -Ger will send a mail around to see who is interested and we?ll take it from there. One Acts: -Need to get radio mikes, Jack can help with the tech, Ger is going to send Adam his email address. -Pauric will begin workshops for play in a day soon. DCU Neyenga Drama Society: -Ed?s brother said they?re doing great. He?s trying to send us photos. We?ll get a bit about it on the website soon. AOB: - Cian said that irishequity.ie would be a good way of getting a director for the show we might put on in semester 2. -TRAINING DAYS: we need to go. At least 1 of the 4 registered committee members need to attend each one. -Hoodies: Around 20 people are interested, they should cost about 27e. Once we have the final number we will go ahead and book with Art and Book Soc. -Robin suggested getting rid of any unused wood or boards in the equipment room.
