But more will be announced when fundraising events have been arranged- but if your willing to help, please reply to chair@dcudrama.ie Movie Madness! SIX SEMESTERS is DCU's first ever feature length movie - indeed the first feature ever (to our knowledge) to be attempted by any society in an Irish university. It's a comedy about a young man who's in the business of breaking up couples and destroying romance. For money. The story involves this young man, a student at DCU, falling in love. Set pretty much exclusively around campus, the film's story takes place over the space of three years (hence the title, "SIX SEMESTERS".) The approximate production schedule for next year is auditions and rehearsals in the first semester and shooting and editing in the second semester. It might be an idea to become aware of a few of the following movies if you want to get involved (acting or otherwise) in the movie. ANNIE HALL WHEN HARRY MET SALLY ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND BEFORE SUNRISE & BEFORE SUNSET GROSSE POINTE BLANK GARDEN STATE SIDEWAYS HITCH Next Years Events... We already have alot lined up for next years drama events, I'm not going to give you any more hints of what they may be (the movie should hopefully be wetting your appetite right now!), but we are still open to suggestions! Remember, this society works to do things that YOU wanna do! So contact us a chair@dcudrama.ie with any suggestions for events next year! DCU Drama would like to wish you all the best in your exams and have a fantastic Summer!!! See ya next year, I'll bring the cake... you bring the wine...
