This is what im sending out.Im sending it out tonight because i want people to know about auditions as soon as possible,i will send it to you much earlier from now on Heyup Guys, Just a few quick words on the week that was and the week that is. Extraordinary General Meeting: Thanks to all of you who came along to our first meeting.It was great to see so many happy smiling faces☺ Congratulations to all those people who got a place to our trip to Broadway,in particular Ciara Buggy who won the raffle place to NYC. We also elected two new members to our committee; Declan McKeown will now fill the position of Tech Officer and Marion Hughes is our new First Year Rep. Two excellent candiadates,who will no doubt do a fantastic job!! Auditions: This week we will be casting for a number of shows.These auditions will be taking place in the Henry Gratton Building in rooms CG 1-5. These will be taking place on Tuesday (6pm-8pm),Wednesday (2pm-6pm) and Thursday (6-8pm) Here is a brief overview of all the incredible shows we will be casting for ; - Romeo and Juliet A play that needs no explaination……. Well maybe a little one. This classic love story will be directed by the very talented Catherine Carr and will be taking place in semester two. If you are interested in more serious drama this is definitly one for you!! - Panto: Aladdin If you only do one thing this year; make sure it's the panto. The flagship event of semester one, always proves to be hilarious, lewd and a great expereince for all involved. This year the panto will be directed by our First Year Rep and will be a Genie us version of Aladdin.(see what i did there......) - Lovely One Act Festival We will also be auditioning for a number of short one act plays. With an internal and external competition between neighbouring colleges,this is a fantastic event.With both serious and comedy scripts, there is sure to be something for everyone!! Also if you are interested in directing a One Act Play,please get in contact with us. - Stars in Their Eyes Produced by Drama veterans; Alan McHale and Megan O'Riordan, 'Stars' is a chance for you budding singers to showcase your talents outside of the shower. Come with a song in your head and a spring in your step☺ *Sexy sketching models for Shag Week:* As you may or may not know,Week Four is Sexual Health Awareness and Guidance week in DCU.
