Hi There, My name is Zach and I am working for The Slipper Bar (Formally Matt Weldons) which is situated right beside the Spar across from the DCU entrance on the Ballymun road. Last semester we were very busy with clubs and socs from DCU who come into our lounge to have a society night/s for themselves. We are going to continue this again and promote the Lounge Bar for student only nights/days whether it be DCU, St Pats, D.I.T. etc. We can provide live music on the night or if you prefer your own music we can create a spotify playlist for you or if not follow you. Last semester we had groups bring in their own music such as guitars speakers etc this is also fine. I also want to remind you all that we can cater for society and club meals. This can either be platters of finger food or a full course menu at a reasonable price for students. This can be used just after training/games. Drink deals can also be had on the night at very competitive prices to anywhere in the city or Northside of Dublin if not better. Class nights or any group events can also be booked through myself. Just to let you know there may be a possible Clubs/society night happening which I will inform you about in due course. If I have not contacted other clubs and socs please let me know as I only have a list given to me from the college. Finally if any club/soc wishes to run a night for themselves such as a fundraiser, open mic or even if you have your own ideas let me know as I would have absolutely no problem working alongside some of the clubs and societies.
