[Karateclubstudents] Intervarsities 2008
Hi everyone! A new semester is starting tomorrow and the intervarsities are only a few weeks away! The date confirmed is the 16th of February,venue: Queens university.Details can be found here: http://www.karateni.org/seidokan/Intervarsities2008/tabid/119/Default.aspx Could anyone who is interested in going please email as soon as possible as I would like to book extra training with Liam for those who are attending. Good morning, Would anyone interested in competing in this year's all-Ireland intervarsities on Feb 16th at Queen's University Belfast please send an email to our club captain, Louise Devey, by the end of the day tomorrow. Please also indicate which category/categories you wish to enter, they are as follows: Individual kata, individual kumite, team kata (men's or women's, no mixed), and team kumite (men's or women's, no mixed). More details and the competition rules can be found at http://www.karateni.org/seidokan/Intervarsities2008/tabid/119/Default.aspx I would highly encourage anyone and everyone to compete - it's a great experience, and always a lot of fun! Additionally, the cost of the trip will be subsidized by the SCC. Liam has generously offered to hold additional training sessions before the event, so if you're interested in taking advantage of a few extra sessions, please also indicate this to Louise when you respond, and then be on the lookout for future emails with details of the additional scheduled trainings.
