Hey everyone, Hope the training this semester is going well for the new and the seasoned alike!! Just a few things to note for the coming month 1. There will be no SENIOR training this Saturday 14th October. There will be beginner training as usual from 11-12 in the squash courts. 2. I am taking bookings from those interested in going surfing in Lahinch, Co. Clare on 28th October. We will head down on Saturday morning, go surfing and stuff, stay the night and then head back Sunday morning/afternoon, depending on what there is to do down there. The surfing lessons are reasonable €25 for a few hours, tuition and all equipment included. Travel down will be by train €30 or I am driving and I can carry three others, anyone else driving? Accomodation will cost no more than €20. We should be able to subsidise some of the above as well as food and drink while down there. Come on it will be a bit of craic, let me know if you are interested. Spouses and other halves also welcome. Need to book by early next week so let me know asap. 3. There will be our monthly night out on Wednesday 1st November. I am giving plently of notice this time as attendance last time was brutal. So 1st November, after training in Porterhouse North. We are currently seeking sponsorship from these guys for hoodies, polo shirts and bags so a big turn out would go a long way to persuading them of our commercial potential!!! 4. Finally, a competition is being organised for Saturday 25th November. This will be held in DCU and will be between ourselves, UCD and UCC. It is in preparation for the highlight of the college training year, the intervarsities. All are welcome to take part. So get training now.
