All Please see below an update on DCU Karate Club *Student Freshers/Clubs and Socs day* Freshers day /Clubs & Socs Days are the 2nd and 3rd of October 2012, 10am-4pm. Semester starts on Monday the 24th of September. * We need student volunteers to recruit new members and also other non student club members* and instructors to turn up and do demonstrations on both days. This is key to getting the numbers into the club and to ensuring the club has finding for next year so please get involved and volunteer. Any ideas on how to promote the club please let me know. *Training times* Our training time for the start of the college year are confirmed as follows - Monday 7-8pm - Wendesday 7-8pm - Saturday 11pm-12pm. Our booking the sport complex up to the start of the semester have been confirmed also with the sports centre. *Blue Wrist bands* If your blue wrist band does not work you will need to go to reception and ask for it to be re-enabled. Anyone who does not have a wrist band will need to let me know and pay €5 to the Sports Centre for a new one. *Begineers course* Also we will be starting a beginners course from the 24th September f*or both students and the general public*. We will be advertising this over the next week on facebook and in the local area but if you know anyone who is interested in starting karate please get them to contact me on this email address. The classes will be held in parallel to the normal class in the racquetball court. Regards Neville
