Hey folks,

Hope you're all having a great Christmas and are really enjoying your holidays.

Apologies to those who I informed of pending rehearsals of the week beginning the 19th of Dec. Due to everyone's availability during that week (aswell as mine and Siobhans) being all over the place, we decided it was best to leave it.

However, I am back in Dublin on the 6th of January. Our producer (the lovely Jess) is making out a rehearsal schedule for the month of January so if you could e-mail your availability and the dates of your exams (aswell as days that you will need to study) to:

              jessica.duggan5@mail.dcu.ie

Also, everyone's timetable for the second semester is available online on your portal page, so if you wouldn't mind forwarding a copy of that to Jess too.

Myself and Siobhan have been really impressed by all of you so far. The level of enthusiasm and passion for each role has been a joy to observe. As much as myself and Siobhan have enjoyed the Christmas break, we can't wait to get back to DCU and get back to rehearsals. Also, if any of you (preferably in the Dublin area) know of your old secondary school studying The Merchant of Venice for the Junior Cert, let them know about our production and get back to us on it. We can send out a proper letter, complete with a DCU DRAMA logo, with all the details if they so wish.

One major tip: learn your lines!! I know I'm being a repetitive bastard about this but it's true! The more you know your lines, the more freedom it gives you to work on projection, interaction and movement. And you'll feel like the dog's bollocks if you can rattle off a couple of Shakespearean references to your mates over Xmas (okay maybe that's only cool when you're all pissed, but hey...)

             Okay, so ends our update.

May we wish you a fantastic New Year and we'll see you soon.

             Eoin and Siobhan.
