Hey folks,
Hope all the studies are going well, etc.
News on our rehearsals is that, realistically, we won't be able to begin them properly until very late into this month...i.e. from around the 25th onward. Many of the cast have differing exam timetables and it'd just be crazy and unfair to organise rehearsals for anytime before the 25th.
This means that we'll have less than a month to work on the entire play. Am I worried? Absolutely not. It gives us plenty of time to fine-tune things. It'll be extremely tough work but it'll be done and done well. For the entire three weeks of February leading up to the show, we need FULL cooperation for EVERYONE to turn up to rehearsals when they have to. We'll be working on full scenes (including extras) from February on so a full cast compliment is essential. I'm looking at three rehearsals a week with Sundays also to be made available for the play.
On the plus side, it looks like we'll need 2 matinees on Tuesday and Wednesday due to demand ALREADY from schools.
Our objective is to fill the Space for every performance.
Anyway, we'd would like to take this opportunity to wish you all the very best in your exams and do yourself proud.
Kindest regards and best wishes,
Eoin, Siobhan and Jess
