If you are punishing me for writing and running a script, may those who wrote a more malicious script should be punished has well. You wrote a malicious script but yours did not run. So maybe you should step down too. Aidan was writing a script. Never got it finished; I'm a bit hazy on the details... but he didn't distribute the script to the users, didn't tell them to run it, because of this there was no formal complaint from the Department of Finance and he wasn't Chair/ViceChair.
No, Aidan changed his mind about whether his script was working or not. Because he said it to my brother. He is more pissed off about this, than I am. Aidan's script was malicious has it did not have a senders address. My script was not malicious as it automatically put the senders address in. So I wish to put a motion of no confidence in Aidan Delaney at the EGM. Aidan should have never lefted his head in this argument about me resigning. It's the classic of the the kettle calling the pot black. Sorry sexy but say good bye to your newly acquire position of Acting Vice-Chair and probably your our position on the committee.
The issue is the formal complaint, brought upon by the actions of Sargon and aided by you, Darragh. This is what the society has to face.
This is rapidly devolving into a petty squabble. Can both of you please stop? This is supposed to be a discussion group for saving society ass, not drivel.
This is an argument between me, you and Aidan Delany. It currently involves nobody else. It is not a petty squabble. This is using me to make the 2 of yous look like saviours of the society, such bullshit. My resignation was for all the wrong reasons I quoted in that letter. The fact that I had not resigned and David Barrett immediately got stuck the Chairperson made me fairly pissed off. Jesus, thank god you have never probably worked on a ship, because they call what you did mutiny. I was not consulted on the issues involved, one fucking committee meeting which was fairly lead by Aidan Delaney. With everbody else pretty much agreeing with what he said. And I did not even know the meeting was one until I walked in on top of on my way to get lunch. My food is more important that some society to me, thats why I did not want to be there. I resigned because of the backstabbing, Aidan Delaney and David Barrett went over to Noel Hogan after I said I would not resign until I talked to Stephen Brown, but those 2 got a letter of Noel Hogan asking me to resign saying it was for the good of MiNDS>. Stephen Brown was asked by James Cotter after me consulting with James Cotter over the matter of my resignation and James Cotter came back to me and said Stephen Brown said I should not hand it a letter a resignation until I had spoken to Stephen Brown, but it was too late as I had given the letter to Bart Busschots and Noel Hogan who were looking for me. In the opinion of alot of third parties Noel Hogan should have supported whatever action I took, after the SU asking for the Department of Finance's communication system to be blocked by all of the students of the college. Sorry about if this interferes in his political life but I have smaller and more personnal concerns to deal with rather than some politican. Any opinion stated above is mine. _________________________ Darragh Sherwin
