What IP does Minds think it is on? We're going to need to network Minds and another PC together to get the files off (or rip out the HDD... no way in hell without somesort of water+staticproof box), as according to Darragh the support for MSDOS disks isn't built into our kernel compile. The drivers are there, as far as I can tell, but no kernel support... and I hardly think that it's worth a kernel recompile *just* yet. Darragh also said that support for FreeBSD disks wasn't built into either our Solaris accounts OR into Linux 2.2.14 [the kernel I have]; so the best thing that I can see of doing with the least bother is bringing a PC in there and FTPing the bloody things off. Eek. BTW, what could be wrong with the Minds shell? It seems to be indenting the character writing point, once logged in, to the middle of the screen; and giving about 5 carriage returns each... this is in my own login, I don't think it was doing it in root. Funky screensaver though :) David Barrett
