An official general meeting will be held next Wednesday the 13th of December. Posters will be placed by the existing ones drawing attention to this fact by Tuesday night. Hopefully Darragh will be able to attend this one; but what I do not want to do is have an argument in front of everyone about technicalities or the like... I want that sorted by then. I would to have a new constitution drawn up for this meeting, or ammendments to the current one; for this meeting... the current one does not suit an IT society; for example email votes using user accounts, proxy votes, etcetera, are not mentioned.
Might I suggest thtat all nominations for committee positions be in well in advance of the meeting ? It would serrve to prevent hasty ddecisions on the part of the candidates, and the voters.
