The letter to front this all is here... comments/corrections post to the list I don't really like the letter, in form or in content. It's more obsequious than we really need to be, and doesn't look all that professional. I wouldn't say it's obsequious.
Plus, there are some things in the list of attached documents that I would question. The nervecentre proposal seems sort of out-of-place - it's not really related to the current problems we face. It is as related as the letter from the Societies officer, Cian... perhaps a document describing the Nervecenter concept in a more abstract way would be a better idea; but I think that it is an illustration of how important we are to other Clubs and Socs.
Also, a much better document to attach than the minutes of that meeting would be a description of exactly what happened, from 'm-day' up 'till now. While such a document would include some details of that meeting, it would be more directly relevant and more in the line of what the CC will really be interested in. More work, I know, and some wasted effort so far, but getting the very best out of all this is very important. The thing IS... what do we put in such a document? An analysis of the system logs? The exact number of emails sent? The minutes seem like a better idea to me; or, as most minutes do seem to lack the force of argument, reworded ones.
Of course, we can't go out of our way to give it emotion, oh no... Bart: What is it James has told me, is it all true? Aidan, what knoweth you? Aidan: Know me what? Bart: The system, the system hath it's plug rightly pulled. Aidan: Blimey. The foul manure has royally hit the rotating-air-circulation device
By the way, I'm sure you realise that I'm not out to offend, I'm just dangerously blunt and to the point when something I care about is threatened. :o) VERY blunt indeed Cian.
I realise it's more terse than the previous one, and doesn't mention some of the things the other did, but I think a lot of that can be offloaded to the PPF document, my security docs, and a full report on the DoS. PPF document?
