PR and leagal action bullet and it would have been they're responsibility. Their jobs would have been on the line if the Dept on Finance had gotten really pissed off. They have concerns as to makeing sure either it won't happen again or their asses are covered if it does. The purpose of the meetings should be to alleviate those concerns.
