I do agree actually. How many people would actually buy the book and has anyone done a costing of it? They get very very expensive very quickly and unless you do preorders now (which isnt a bad idea) your prob wont have any kind of accurate numbers. Website is a very good and cost effective idea. I'll even cover cost of domain if you go down that route.
(damn connection died on me while writing this and I forget what else I'd written apart from the paragraph below) I guess the key question is: What do we want a "book" ? What is it for? Who do we imagine reading it? Will it be a throw away book or something we want people to actually keep as a souvenir (ignoring the fact that at least a handful of brickies would probably keep paper napkins as souvenir if we wrote "Redbrick 10th Anniversary" on them ;o))? How much is Redbrick willing to spend on it (bearing in mind Rb will also want to put on events, hire bands, buy cake, etc.)? Just a few ideas for people to discuss. Or not. :o) -- Tum Ganesh nahiin ho! Adding value.. to synergy All opinions expressed above are not to be taken seriously unless intended.
