I think the interest in what redbrick people are doing with themselves post-college is a legitimate and obvious interest for both members and random readers alike (if you are looking for precedent, look no further than the L&H anniversary website). Personally I can only see inclusion of such a section as a good thing for the society to generate sponsorship, new membership, respect from university authorities, & indeed only strengthens your own CV from having been involved with something that is so positive.
