Good man Brian! Well done on creating the list. Hast it been announced on the boards etc.?
God, you're such a slave-driver. I've just announced it :)
Regarding publishing (which might be the most important logistical thing we need to plan ahead for) - here's a few things to think about: - legitimate publishers - who? - how long would it take to publish? - how many copies do we need? - what timescale do they need from submission to produced book?
There's a few ways to approach this, we need to figure out what we want first: DCU get lots of stuff printed every year - they've got to have some good contacts. The SU, SPC and maybe whoever looks after printing for DCU should be harrassed. We should find some books similar to the style in which we want it published - maybe they're published in Ireland. It might be worth looking at that UCD Lit and Hist Soc. history book that was published recently. Maybe the book could be in the style of an O'Reilly book? Brian.
