Hello All
Quick email about Monday training sessions and gear:
First, now that we're doing dive training on Mondays we need to make sure we've the correct equipment for training. So from now I'll be mailing asking for all members who are going to reply (not just people who need/can give lifts, although we still need to know this), if you have specific needs for jacket sizes please say and we'll try our best to make sure we've suitable ones (no grantees :) ).
Second, we need to keep our equipment shiny and clean, and more importantly working correctly. As such, after you use the equipment can you please give it a good rinse under the showers. This includes both the regs and the jacket. (Make sure the cap on top of the regs is closed BEFORE getting them wet, image attached for anyone confused). Do not leave washed gear back by the pool, please bring it outside the changing area so we know what gear has been done. If you've used some weights (that are not yours) please make sure they are not left behind, these are club members weights and they need to go back to the container.
Thirdly, you may have noticed the gear is heavy, please do not leave it to two or three people to bring all the gear up form the car park to the pool, or back down after training. This should also speed things up and get y'all in the pool for longer. :)
Fourthly, (thats totally not a word...?) while Mondays are still open to those who wish to go, anyone who has been down lately will have noticed space is becoming an issue as dive training progresses, as such, I'd like to remind you of the excellent facilities at our disposal for snorkel and fitness training in the fabulous DCU Sports Center on a Thursday (8-9pm).
If anyone has any questions, feel free to shoot me a mail or ask me in person.
See you all soon (super-fun-happy-tursday training :D ),
John
