The problem is that the eight storage disks on minerva are wired into
the 3ware card. The mainboard only has two spare SATA ports.

Unless anybody knows any way to plug lots of SATA cables into one port,
or have the card just allow the OS direct access to each disk? (that
would be an ideal solution, imo)
