Just a quick reminder about the Game Programming Tutorials that start today. They'll be taking place in the Computer Applications building in LG25 from 5pm till 7pm.
They'll be done in Java and there'll be sample code, images and people there to help you out throughout the night. Should be good fun and very usefull to all you budding games programmers. Hope to see you there!

The Games Soc have arranged for a talk on the History of Computer Games by Aphra Kerr, creator of www.gamedevelopers.ie and head of the Irish chapter of the IGDA. This is set for 5pm TODAY in the Seminar room - all are welcome!
If you are interested in applying for the Microsoft Essay, which has a first prize of over a grand, this years topic is - The History of Computer Games :)
