Hey everyone just another mail about what we will have running this week in GamesSoc,

Clubs And Socs Days. Lab Gaming. Traditional Gaming.

Clubs and Socs Days Tuesday and Wednesday are the biggest days of the year for all the clubs and societies in DCU. This is where we offer current members the opportunity to rejoin the society and for freshers to get involved and officially join GamesSoc. We shall be out in all our glory both days and everyone is more than welcome to come along and play the consoles which will be setup at the stand. And to avail of our free sweets and pens and badges!! Its definitely worth it! Hope to see you all there over the coming days.

Lab Gaming. Due to some unfortunate events, Lab Gaming couldn't take place last week so this weeks sees the return of all your PC favourites, StarCraft, Age Of Empires, Counter Strike and many more.It will be held in the usual lab which is C204 in Henry Grattan on Thursday evening from 6pm. Do come along and play and if you do have any suggestions as to games that you would like to see played don't hesitate to ask.

Traditional Gaming. Traditional Gaming continues this week with your favourite table top games. We play Card Games, Strategy Games, Board and War Games too so there will be definitely something for everyone. We play on Monday and Wednesday nights in the seminar room from 7pm. Lots of drinks and snacks provided for all.

Last week saw the return of Console Gaming and Rock Band proved to be quite popular drawing a big audience and queue of players! This week unfortunately due to Wednesday being a part of Clubs and Socs days we won't be able to hold consoles this week although there will be plenty of entertainment at our stand all day long like Smash Bros., Soul Calibur IV, Halo 3 and loads more so if you want some console action make sure to come find us in the hub.
