Hey folks,

First of all on behalf of the entire committee I want to make sure you guys are all having a great summer. Needless to say we're still busy behind the scenes organising our events for the upcoming year and believe me when I tell you, they're going to be bigger and better than ever.

Anyway first things first, I'd like to finally announce the availability of the Games Soc hoodies which, as some of you may know, we've been talking about for quite some time.

Firstly, there are going to be two different designs available in two different colours so you'll have plenty of choices if you choose to purchase one. Images and pricing can be found on our forums here -> http://games.redbrick.dcu.ie/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=1&t=1269

Orders will be taken in a few weeks but we're announcing it now to give you guys and gals plenty of time to get your orders in. The first batch will be purchased on a pre-order basis given that we want to have them for the start of the new semester. As such we'll be taking orders either in cash or through payment into our account, details of which can be found off the main page, if that suits better. If you're living in Dublin then we can arrange to get your hoodie to you when they arrive otherwise we'll hold them until the Semester starts and you can collect them whenever you are back in college.

Note, any subsequent orders will only be made once the minimum order with the printing company has been reached so if you really want one we suggest you get one in the initial batch.

We think they look great and we've made sure that we got the best possible deal for you guys so hopefully we'll be seeing lots of these guys around campus in the coming year. :)

In other news, we've finally gotten the go ahead for our End Of Summer BYOPC LAN event. Once we have the final details fixed up we'll send you guys another mail about it. Anyway, as usual keep an eye on the site and forums for more info on the events and any other news with the society.
