Hello everyone and welcome to The Media Production Society.

Our EGM will be held on monday next at 6pm in the Seminar room in the HUB where you will get a chance to meet the committee and discuss the various programmes for the year. Some workshops have already been organised and they will be starting in the next week or two.

There are 4 remaining positions on the Committee

So what is Hybrid?

Hybrid is a club night devoted to displaying the imaging/photographic talent of the students in communications, multimedia, and journalism courses in DCU, alongside some of the best Irish DJ's on the circuit.

Fusing different forms of music with visuals is by no means a new idea, however Hybrid aims to use this medium as a platform where new and emerging visual artists can freely display their work to a mass audience: a precious chance by anyone's rationale.

Hybrid will take place some night during the first few weeks of the second semester this year. Your job as one of the Hybrid officers will be to ensure that everything is organised by the end of this semester so that the show will run smoothly.

If you are interested in being responsible for the running of Hybrid and have any questions, feel free to email me before the EGM on monday.
