I know it is really early to be asking about these two Cons but as the SPC stop issuing cheques on the 27th of May it's kinda necessary. Vaticon XI is the next Convention on the STOCS calender http://www.ucd.ie/gamesoc/vaticon.html It's UCD's second gameing event of the year due to their problems with securing a hall earlier on. They're only charging an entry fee of EUR 4 for daily and 7 for weekend and all the games are free. They also have free coffee (not as good as our free refreshments but at least they are trying) Belfast is the destination for the next Con, Q-Con. It's being held the 24th to the 26th of June. At the moment I can't get their web page to load so I'll leave the link out. As accommodation needs to be arranged if you are going i would really appreciate you not telling me at the last minute that you want to go. Anyway, we need to know how many people want to go to each Con so we can get the money out of the SPC otherwise you'll have to pay for yourself which isn't fun. This is my last job as trips and ents officer before Liam takes over. I'm sure you'll all miss me horribly. Also I am currently living in arklow and can get online about once a week so if you want a rapid answer it might be better to mail Liam (his mail address is on the stocs website and he's already sent you a whole heap of mail so you should all know it already) but feel free to mail me.
