Hello, Well, we're now approaching the end of the year, so, in keeping with tradition, we will be holding our Annual General Meeting. This will consist of: - An annual report from the Chairperson and Treasurer. - Election of a new committee. The AGM will be held on Wednesday 23rd April, at 7pm sharp, and will be in the Seminar Room in the Hub. All members are encouraged to attend. (Associate members are also welcome, but, in accordance with SPC policy, will not be entitled to vote.) It is important that you attend, as this is your opportunity to: (a) hear all the good (and bad) things that this years committee have done, and (b) to have your say in choosing the people to organise the society for next year. You are encouraged to read the society constitution, which can be found at http://redbrick.dcu.ie/~stocs/constitution.shtml Please note that, as stated in article 5.1, people intending to run for committee positions should announce this at least 2 days in advance.
